JinXed HVSC Mirror
The High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC) is a freeware hobby project which organises Commodore 64 music (also known as SID music) into an archive for both musicians and fans alike. The work on the collection is done completely in the Team and contributors' spare time and is proudly the largest and most accurate computer music collection known.
HVSC has been going strong since 1996, and this mirror has been following it for over twenty years.
The SID Tune Information List (STIL, in DOCUMENTS/STIL.txt of every release) contains information about the SID tunes found in the HVSC beyond the standard TITLE, AUTHOR, and COPYRIGHT information. STIL goes a little deeper listing SID tune information that only a true SID freak would enjoy. Such information listed in STIL includes cover information, interesting facts, useless trivia, comments on the tunes by the composers themselves, etc. The STIL, though, is limited to factual data and does not try to provide an encyclopedia about every original artist.
